At TuCha, we bring the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong to life, blending the timeless elegance of Eastern tea culture with the bold creativity of Western flavors.
TuCha was founded by a group of Hong Kong natives in the United States with a shared passion for honoring our heritage while embracing innovation. We’re proud to have partnered with Catherine Zhang, the renowned winner of Zumbo’s Just Desserts Season 2 and a celebrated dessert chef, to bring our vision to life.
The Name "TuCha"
Inspired by the historical evolution of the Chinese character for tea, TuCha honors both tradition and purity. Originally, the character Tu (荼) symbolized tea’s raw, original essence. Later, the character was simplified to Cha (茶), representing refined tea. This transformation mirrors TuCha's philosophy of using only the most authentic ingredients in each blend, reflecting a commitment to quality and a deep connection to tea’s natural origins.

At TuCha, our desserts are thoughtfully crafted to complement our beverages, offering a sweet and satisfying end to your TuCha experience. Partnering with renowned dessert chef Catherine Zhang, our dessert menu features a variety of delectable treats made from the finest ingredients.

There is street parking available, and we also offer validated parking at 2850 W 7th Street, Los Angeles, California, 90005. It’s just a 2.5-minute walk from TuCha.
Store Hours
Our store is open Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
